CISD( Coppell Independent School District) includes a sizable section of the Valley Ranch neighborhood in Irving (generally all residents west of MacArthur Boulevard). The three middle schools are called Coppell Middle School North, West, and East. The Coppell Middle School North's mascot is the Cougar. The Coppell Middle School West's mascot is the Wrangler. The Coppell Middle School East's mascot is the Bronco. The elementary schools are: Austin, Cottonwood Creek, Denton Creek, Lakeside, Lee, Mockingbird, Pinkerton, Town Center, Valley Ranch, Wilson.
